Borax and sugar still works, but you need to be patient. It can take a few days to make a difference.
Since I'm not patient, I sprayed the floor where they were coming in with a wettable powder insecticide. That seemed to do the trick.
Can't remember the name, I mixed up a spray bottle and I've been using it for years.
Ants in house! Anyone have any luck exterminating?
