I have done a few hundred acres this way. I set my hydraulic down pressure at 210#. 190# was not quite as good. Never even paid any attention to the nh3 marks. I have air adjust row cleaners and set them until I was happy. Also have air adjust closing wheel bags. I did not change the setting from convention till as I thought it was doing a good enough job. Maybe could have used a touch more. I also have drag chains.
