southern MN | Holiday gas stations are out of Hazelnut cream again. Dang it.
The manager said it’s odd how the shortages go, she said one week we can’t get chocolate chip cookies; then the cookies come in and the other thing that goes with them (I forgot what that was, a drink I think) is out. So never get the full deal any more? She said it’s frustrating, then that morning she had to raise diesel prices so much, she just shook her head.
So, these days I walk into the bar/ restaurant for a noon meal. I buy gas at the gas station. I get my hair cut, I stop at the pizza chain. And the owners and managers talk business with me. Kinda detailed sometimes. That happen to the rest of you? I think it’s neat, interesting, but not sure thats normal.
