Subject: RE: Trimble FMX and T8040 New Holland Auto Pilot

A quick Google search with "Trimble APMD" comes up with that being the electric steer system they cam up with after the EZGuide. EZPilot?

So I would choose image 2 as the correct VDB to try first.

Autopilots in Magnums go with the fins pointing towards the back of the tractor, the smooth face (the actual bottom) pointing towards the seat back, and the connectors pointing towards the LEFT of the tractor.

At least that's how our Red Magnum's are.

If you choose the correct VDB, it OUGHT to put the NAV in the screen pointing the correct way for you. The picture on the screen ought to match what your tractor came as.
