NEND
I use a spreadsheet to keep track of what filters are used on my equipment. I have a column that I put how many of each I intend to use. Some filters are used on multiple units, so I made a pivot table that totals up the number of each filter I need. This just adds up the number needed of each filter even if it’s used/listed for more than one unit. I don’t use that spreadsheet for tracking service records though, I use a Microsoft Access for that. I have adapted all but my service records database over to a spreadsheet. I just couldn’t ever get a report the way I like out of a spreadsheet. The database is a little more suitable for handling paragraphs of info. I use Microsoft OneNote for various things also. I do have my equipment set up in there and enter periodic maintenance in a tab in OneNote because it’s quick. Then when I get time, I will transfer those records over to my database. One thing that I don’t like about OneNote is, there isn’t an “undo” button on the iPad app, so I’d be a little apprehensive about having multiple people updating records in there. Does EverNote have an “undo” on the mobile apps?
