northeast ohio | If it’s set on anything other than SBAS or Autonomous then the system requires a satellite based subscription (Omni star, RangePointRTX or CenterPoint RTX) OR a modem with cellular subscription OR a Bluetooth dongle with cellular source such as tablet or phone OR radio with a base station.
Knowing more about your system would be helpful. Is the FMX connected to a round antenna? If so, what’s the model number on the underside? Does the system have a radio or modem. A radio will have a separate antenna plugged into the FMX’s RTK coax connector. Or does it have a modem which would be cables into one of the 12 pin ports. If the antenna is a larger square then this is a different scenario where the display is getting its GPS through the NAV controller.
The screen with the check marks is the unlocks page. If you want to know more about how the display is setup including the type of antenna. From the Home Screen choose the Configuration button, then select GPS Receiver then Diagnostics. This should show satellites regardless of subscription. If you need to change any setting on an FMX the password is usually 2009. Settings from the GPS receiver page is where you can view how the system is configured as far as antenna and accuracy level.
