I been through the Bureau of Printing and Engraving where they printed money. The tour guide said that a certain stack of sheets of money about 4 feet high was about $6 million dollars. Each sheet had 32 $20 bills on it...$640. Each sheet is about .005 thick...200 to the inch.

Now imagine our national debt of close to 30 trillion stacked in $640 sheets. It would be about 3,000 miles high. Lay it on its side and it would about span the country east to west. Imagine driving 70 mph beside that horizonal stack for about 43 hours...each page $640.

Don't get me wrong... some paper money is still actually printed, but the vast majority is loaned into existence, today.

That amount of debt is kind boggling to most, me included.
