Central IL | Guessing it is the late planted wheat in the upper two thirds of the state. Some of it is on my farm. Planted late. Some winter kill from the cold January with no snow. Slow start due to the cold wet spring. Worst looking wheat for me in the last 10 years. Neighbor has an early planted field looks great. Has another late planted field he considered tearing out to plant corn. My fertilizer dealer says there is quite a bit of ugly wheat around. | |
