Very unlikely u see basis improvements into summer. Basis is likely going to follow the spreads
What’s inverted into NC then flat to small carry to Jan/March/July telling us Maizing? Not being a smart Alec, I just don’t read the basis tells as good as you yet. Specific to NC basis.
Outside of bin bottoms we locked in close to option price on most of what is still on hand for May/June delivery.
I’m starting to think more about NC basis. End users which typically drive our basis are still too near sighted to start really bidding on NC 22 yet. |
