the reality of it all is that we cannot support all the electric vehicles that government is pushing and their timelines. Mr Musk has agreed. First thing that either party doesn’t really want to address is our electric grid. We are tremendously vulnerable. The right hacker or bomb could shut down large parts of our country. Developing military vehicles based on same grid would raise questions to most people. My frustration with all of this is that common sense is going out the window with political ideology taking center stage. Biden’s team has been so focused on trying to focus on race, CRT, climate change and other ideas and pushing those ideas in such a way that all these groups all pushing from different sides so that common sense gets thrown out the window. Pairing electric drives with diesel motors has been around for many decades and is proven technology’s that work in tough environments. Running everything on batteries is a technology that may eventually work but rather than letting the technology prove itself, getting a honest read on what that environmental cost is and a number of issues, it is politically pushed before it is fully ready. Anybody in electric cars or wind energy that supplies the grid will tell you that the batteries that are really needed for a lot of applications are not ready yet or are not economically feasible nor is grid ready to supply it yet. So yes, trying to turn over a major fleet, especially used in any part of military might be abit premature. Mr Biden’s cabinet has very little qualifications other than their political ideology with very little practical knowledge in the areas that they are supposed to be leading. There does not seem to be any common sense in any of them and sure not coming from the president or Vp. So when they are telling me it is all very wise green deal I get highly uneasy as their track record has been terrible. Way too many shotgun decisions that have been just that.
