You bring up a good point on emergence. I think we could go an plant this week a few days, but looking at the extended forecast it’s gonna be three-four weeks before it comes out of the ground. Is it worth getting it in the ground if it doesn’t do anything?
I’ll point out, I’m still going to do it. Because you never know if we turn wet again and don’t get those days to plant later on. I hear ya, but what if we don’t get those days to plant later on, and the stuff you put in the ground now doesn’t sprout, or turns around and heads to China, leading out underground? What did you gain then? IMO, it would behoove a person to stand by the minimum of 50 degrees at planting depth with rising temps in the near term forecast to at least get it sprouted, given the conditions were faced with. You could look like a hero, but the odds aren’t in your favor……
