How about this. Make a prescription with the blank area being 0 rate and make all the points the soil sample numbers. So your in zero rate until you hit a point then the rate would change to the sample number. You also could make a guidance line the auto steer could drive you along. If you had ATU in the vehicle it would auto steer along.
