Treynor IA | My wife got her temporary stimulator in December. You have to get a temporary one to see if it helps before medicare will pay for it. It worked great. She got about 65% pain relief. In January she got her permanent one and it has not been much help. They said it would take 6 months to fully help. She has maybe 30% pain relief. She has been back to have it programed 4 or 5 times. The doctor took xrays and said the leads are properly placed. The doctor is well known in his field and we trust him. Why did the temporary one work so well and not the permanent? Good question. | |
