Linneus Mo. | US milk is actually priced under world milk price. Our butter is cheaper our cheese is cheaper our powder is cheaper. Yes, Argentina has to find a home for its milk but the container shortage is also a problem for them. Besides they are in a bad position for trade. New Zealand and Australia can beat them into the Asian market. They are extremely uncompetitive getting into north Africa. They can't beat us on freight into Mexico or Canada. So yes it's a burden if they can drop the price far enough to make it into these markets but can they do that and stay in business?
It's an academic talking point nothing more. And no it won't make it in here. We can't get milk out let alone get milk in through our ports!
