Subject: RE: How’s planting going

Southern Missouri
There’s a little planted here and a little is up corn wise ,soybeans only a tiny bit planted and I talked to an area rice scout here that said in his 28 year career this is first time with no fields recorded as planted by April 20 and all this is being typed as it’s pouring outside and they’re giving it again Sunday night ,but on the bright side my new Deere planter that was ordered last July is not here and not going to be for a while as they told us today waiting on wiring harness,ol lucky me.We would normally be near a 100 percent done on corn by now and probably maybe 20 percent in.The counties were in here are big yielders and pretty big acres ,acres used to be a lot bigger until mid nineties when cotton came back in here hugely and it all came at the expense of corn acres ,0 cotton in around here yet.
