Subject: Cash Grain Sales Washouts - Schedule F?

ND
Given it is tax day, has anyone here reported washout penalties from cash grain sales on their schedule F?
If so, did you put them in as a negative income? Or under line 32 other expenses?
This was a forward grain contract that, due to drought, had to wash out (at a loss to me) with elevator prior to delivery (short on grain)

Have never had to do a washout before, so this is new to me. Total tax all should not change, but curious how people report it
