SW Ohio | Not sure how much longer I can hold out. Sold 4, 5, 6, and 7 dollar corn. I have 40 to 45% left. 08 8.00 corn is 11 today. I hate the thought of buying an otm call to protect an 8 dollar sale but with what's going in the world, it is not out of the imagination that we go levels Not seen before but are actually less in 2008 dollars.
I'm set in greed mode for old crop. I sold new crop every time I felt like selling. 5.25, 6, 6.4 7, 7.5. Also, not hedging against inputs was way more fun on 21 crop than 22.
I like buying puts as we climb and selling a at the money call when we hit targets. | |
