Wi | It's just a Linux distro. I'd stick with something more common like Fedora or Ubuntu.
Linux is not for "just enough to be dangerous" types, it's primarily command line based. It has its place and is extremely useful for many things but for the tasks you suggest, you'll get far more done with Windows.
Buy a cheap used laptop and put Linux on it to play around with.
You can use WSL on a windows machine but it's not quite the same. | |
