One small problem - - - LOL - - - - the warmest its been for a 4 hour stretch in the last 3 weeks is maybe 10 F.
(The coldest - - - well quite a bit lower than that - - - chuckling!)

Dunno how liquid feeds would get along in our environment here!!
Likely would need a block heater or three to keep them working!


I feed QLF as mineral replacement in almost all my rations. It got down here the other day to 4 degrees and it flowed through the pump and plumbing just fine.

I've got 112 old cows in a group that only get corn stalk bales in a TMR mixed with QLF. They are fed in bottomless bunks on pasture. It's not as well ground up as if you had them custom ground, but they eat almost all of it. They are maintaining their weight just fine. Sure makes it affordable.

I move the bunks every week or so, and there is very little waste.
