I have pretty much the same spreader if I’m spreading in freezing temps manure will stick to the sprocket and eventually the chain will ride over the sprockets it’s pretty frustrating when it does it.
look at a kuhn knight spreader back by the sprockets-they have a 3/8 or so rod that is bent around the sprocket on the bottom-it keeps the chain from wrapping underneath the sprocket as it starts to unload-we bought a new spreader that was forgotten to weld that little attachment on-brand new spreader 2 nd load wrapped-after 2 new spreader aprons the problem was solved by the factory |
