Iowa | I’d look at the school. Locally they’re all short help, and I’m gonna guess that people on here, as a general rule, are gonna help kids a lot more in the game of life than a lot of the young teachers that are getting hired. My schedule is swamped, but local district has a lot of teacher out sick — I just about gave them a call. It’s in a NEW building and they can’t keep the kids from vandalizing it - told wife it’d be worth being the volunteer who got fired just so these kids could see a real butt chewing that seems to be lacking now days.
Wife helps and gets paid some, she helps at elementary school - money isn’t much, but you have a chance to make a difference. | |
