We've had this little skid steer for several years.  Had a few issues like tires and hydraulic leaks.  Decided to fix it with the intent to be able to jump in it, carry out a job without having the spend time airing up tires, finding a battery and all that.  It would be handy if it would be reliable and ready to go.  So, we put on new tires, fixed some leaks, fixed the starter.  Now the engine will not start.  It has the little 2 cylinder Deutz air cooled diesel engine which we know nothing about.  It turns over great now but even with starting fluid it will not fire.  Just emits some smoke.  Usually with a diesel engine it will fire with starting fluid even if the there is an issue with the fuel system.  It ran fine last time we used it.  Any ideas what the problem could be???  Hate to spend all this money and not get something out of it.  Thanks
