Hard to beat hamburger steak in my book.
If it is an exceptional steak, I'll take steak. If it is just a so-so steak, I would just as soon it be ground up into hamburger.
If you want an exceptional steak, buy the big ol' vacuum packed prime rib from Costco, put it in the fridge for 40-60 days then cut into steaks. Guaranteed to be the best steak you have ever had. However, this may be a waste of money if you like your meat well done. I'm not sure the cut and/or ageing of a steak matters much when cooked well done.
