Glad I could Help! The NanoStations are rated for outdoor use, but its recommended that for $12 you put in an ethernet surge protector between the bridge outside, and your laptop, so you don't fry your laptop in case of a lightning strike. You can find Ubiquities surge protector at: https://store.ui.com/collections/related/products/ethernet-surge-pro...
Unless you have the tools and materials already to run cat 5, I definitely recommend Ubiquities premade cable which is super thin and waterproof, and relatively cheap, found at: https://store.ui.com/collections/unifi-accessories-cables/products/u... . Only problem is you have to drill a half inch hole through the wall to feed it through because of the connector at the end.
I promise I'm not an Ubiquiti salesman, I just really like their products. ;)
