Subject: House to shop ubiquiti recommendation

SW Nebraska

Hey guys,

Could use a recommendation here.

I previously used my Netgear NightHawk router in my house to connect to my shop.  On my shop I had a NanoStation Loco M2 connected to a toughswitch..........

I upgraded my home network and installed an Access Point AC Mesh Pro (UAP-AC-M-Pro) on a tower outside with hopes of it connecting with the Nanostation Loco M2 on the shop.  I have been unable to get the two to link up even though the NanoStation sees the AP it will not connect.  Ui support says they are incompatible with one another.

My question is, what would you recommend I use to connect the house network to the shop switch?  I will have APs in the shop along with cameras etc....  Is there something outdoor rated I can put on the shop that will link up to the AP AC Mesh Pro?  or something I can mount on the tower that will link to my Nanostation Loco M2.....maybe something I can plug into the secondary port on my AP AC Mesh Pro and save running a second wire?

We are talking 250' or so between the tower and the shop.

Thanks for your help!
