SW TX PANHANDLE | I’ll second that! When my dad was a young boy in the 50s, his parents raised turkeys to sell at thanksgiving. After they got done dressing and delivering said turkeys to customers, they were so sick and tired of turkey that they would have a goose for thanksgiving and Christmas. They still cooked the goose when I was a youngster in the early eighties and I could not stand eating it. These were domesticated grain fed geese also, not wild. Would rather eat bologna sandwich. | |
