Josh, it sounds like you have worked where I have. I can get within 3" of level with my big excavator "IF" I have the laser set up. I have a 5ft smooth ditching bucket that works real nice for leveling, but like you said, it looks perfect until you leave the seat. I want to build a plane for the skid steer for finish work. Those things really do a nice job. I had convinced myself to go with tracks, but my brother has run both quite a bit and is trying to get me to at least consider a wheel machine with over the wheel tracks or a big brute of a wheel skid steer. I have loved tracks whenever I have been in one.
