Frost,Mn | I’m glad you’re still here and I completely understand your situation.
In June of this year I had a kid completely blow a stop sign and t- boned me, which led to a helicopter ride to Rochester Mayo Clinic, and a 3 week hospital stay. I owe my farm to a first class hired man, my neighbors, friends and family. I had corn to haul, crops to be sprayed, everything. They were going to put me in a nursing home at the age of 52 for a couple months but I was allowed to go home under the care of my wife who is an RN.
My corn got hauled, crops sprayed and even lawn mowed by those close to me. I’ve said many times “ I don’t want to live anyplace but here”.
Harvest went well, I gave up the seat in the combine for beans but did most of the corn myself. My wife was not happy but it was good therapy. Getting better every day.
A lot to be thankful this year | |
