10 bolts rims in 18x38 are more common. The 9 bolt deals and rims are ALOT lighter duty than the 10 bolt ones are. Unless they are going on a smaller lighter tractor I would reccomend getting the 10 bolt setup.
I have seen quite a few busted welded and cracked 9 bolt 38" dual wheels. I have not seen very many 10 bolt deals that are welded and cracked unless really abused.


Not always, Deere used 9 bolt rims on the 9950 cotton picker, real heavy rims with steel centers rather than thin pressed steel.
