| I would really think it over- I have 3 loader tractors all 2 wheel drive, most of my work is moving hay, all 3 are set up well with the loader just in front of the wheels, with a decent length wheel base and fairly heavy for their size, except the last one I bought, still needs another 1000 pounds on the back to really function well in the snow or mud- if that tractor is set up like my neighbors (slightly older, but 4 wheel drive) with a JD loader but out several feet in front of the front wheels he is not going to be happy with out a ton of weight on the back, may not even work well then. I also do not mind running chains in the winter, only advantage of that over a 4 wheel drive will be turning radius. | |
