I would do it again! We’ve been checking our own for 12 years now. We retest our drys at the end Every year when we implant them. This year we found 1 bred in 116 on the retest. Once you learn what the tubes look like and ect. On the screen it isn’t as difficult. Finding the bred ones is ultra easy but when the calves get big sometimes they fall out of range. If you palpate as well you can feel the drys easy. The machine we got was 9,000$ and has been a trouble free unit. Reproscan. It has tested over 30,000 cows the vets here are 3-5$/hd. Pretty easy return
.

Do you hire out too or just do your own? How many do you do in an hour? Just curious.
