That's correct. It's easy to set up a PACER account, that allows you to look up every federal case....criminal, bankruptcy, anything federally prosecuted. Once you set up an account go to Pacer Case Locator, then click on "Find Cases Advanced". I've found it's fairly easy to locate a "Case #" just by searching names online. Once you have a case # you're in. Case #'s are the year bankruptcy was filed+5 digits ie.(21-00001). Bankruptcies are federal cases, after years of looking at just a handful of local cases, it's just brutal what happens to the unsecured creditors.
