Fruita CO | Seems like some people think they are cool. We had a big nest in the apple tree, those big old black hornets . I hosed it with killer juice and got them all. An older friend of my wife saw the nest after the leaves fell off and asked if she could have it. I got the ladder and cut the limb off, she was all happy. Fast forward a few months, we got a package from her and it was the nest all lacquered up and preserved...
It still smelled pretty strong like spray paint, and I think it kind of creeped my wife out anyway, she put it out in the storage shed where it remains still... | |
