Last night I was faced with the unwanted decision of whether to eat out or not due to travel. A new Panda Express opened up earlier this year and since I’ve never eaten at such a named restaurant, there was hesitation on spending money there. The online reviews for this new location were mostly unfavorable. A good percentage of customers were unhappy because later on after placing their orders they were told that those menu items were sold out.
I’m familiar with and enjoy occasionally eating out at a Chinese restaurant. It was suggested by a former customer of Panda Express to go elsewhere to a non franchised Chinese restaurant that wasn’t part of a restaurant chain. The beef broccoli was tempting but I managed to resist and drive on by.
What say you? Panda Express or no?
Had one not too far away until fairly recently.
I would compare it to something like a McDonalds or a Burger King. Edible, and you know what it's gonna taste like when you order it, but not nearly as good as a proper restaurant generally makes. However, it was fast, edible, and relatively cheap. |
