SE Iowa | We’ve also ran fall anhydrous for years, run it as deep as you can pull it same rate as we do in the spring. As long as it seals up good we put it all on. Considering we have 90% of our corn acres booked for 750/ton and right now guys are buying it for 1400/ton I’d say you can loose quite a bit of yield before it doesn’t pay to do it in the fall. Not saying it’s always that big of a difference but around here usually cheaper in the fall and the yields are pretty much the same. Have been running nserve with it but the jury is still out on that. | |
