SW Ohio
what I've seen so far 30" beans have the same weed problems 7.5" beans do, row spacing has far less to do with weed control than anyone wants to admit.
I am making the switch to all 30" beans next year. I am also spraying this fall to kill winter annuals and annual bluegrass that has been giving us fits. I tried some fall spray last year and liked the results. I know it doesn't always work, but last year it saved me $16/acre in burndown costs in the spring. I am also considering a cultivator purchase if I were to have some escapes, but not pursuing that angle with much effort.
