Northern Wyoming | John, I agree with you about getting vitamin D3 from sun in winter, but I also wonder about in summer and the amount of skin exposed to get enough in 20 minutes. Basically my arms are the only skin I have exposed with a broad brimmed hat. I take 2000 to 3000 units of Vitamin D each day and have for years. A doctor had me checked and said most people are low in their needs.
Also, what is the average/optimal level of Vitamin 25 hydroxy? | |
