Vitamins and minerals help the immune system (feed it or give it more energy/ammo) fight it. Vit D, Vit C and zinc don't fight virus them selves, they give the fighting guys in the body the ammo needed to keep going and fight at highest potential . . . . . . ETA: Even without the Vax - the Vitamins give the immune system the ammo/strength to be at their finest to help fight it off, but takes more to do it, without previous exposure to the covid virus . . .
