I think it depends on your moisture profile and how warm you are.
We're 6 weeks after our insurance plant date but I saw a picture of some wheat drilled 12 days ago and it is already up. Surprised me but we have had a lot of 60-70 degree days. But also one morning a few days ago was 17. Most of the time the night time lows have been in the upper 20's.
