SW Wisconsin | Historically the vet has been pretty accurate, I think. I only check once a year, and usually cull the cows that come back open, but the few I've kept I don't think any have ended up being pregnant. I've had a few diagnosed pregnant come up open, but assumed that they just lost their calves. The other vet from the practice will be out Monday to recheck the cows that there's any question on.
Not sure if it's a different test or just a procedure thing, but I didn't pull an extra sample. I marked the barn sheet with which ones I wanted tested, and they ran the test on the same sample. | |
