I'll be the odd man out - we have two mini wheel loaders, a Kubota 630, and a New Holland W80c. I use the NH every day mixing three loads in a 750 size TMR. It's really handy. It also loads hay in the field all summer, and is light enough to float around on hay ground. It handles two bales of straw, cornstalks, or dry hay great, but with two silage bales, you better be on level ground. We also use it to load the wrapper and a manure spreader where it sneaks around in pens very well.

For all around use, I prefer it over a big one.

If you aren't going to use it in the field, or like a skid loader, a 544 Deere is a good size as others have stated.

Make sure that whatever you buy has a quick attach on the front.
