Wisconsin | Go through with a field cultivator to find them? I'd imagine your patch is somewhat uniform, so if some produced then most did.
Here, WI/IA/MN border, they will volunteer some in the garden, but that's a better soil than in the field. I'd be surprised if you get much of anything survive. But if it snows early and stays late, they'll come back. No problem with eating them. you might want to thin them early, but that would be tough because they send up multiple shoots. | |
