The vaccines are really a pretty ingenious concept. There are all these little intercellular messenger vehicles flowing in and out and among the cells all the time. So the researchers copied them, and then dump the new ones in with all the others. And they blend in with the normal flow of traffic. And the immune system is programmed to ignore the normal traffic, so it ignores the synthetic ones as well. (Well, except for those individuals with PEG allergies.)
