I've done similarly, John. Dropped about 50# and cut my blood pressure meds in half, dropped metformin.
I really think if I could squeeze in more exercise, I could eliminate more. Resting bp can be 130s-140s over 70s-low 80s. Exercise and then rest and it will be in the 120s over the 60s.
