Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I've had an iPhone 6 since new and have been happy with it but several apps are no longer supported since they require IOS 13.
I'm considering getting a refurbished iPhone 8. It is advertised as unlocked. Does that mean I can just move the SIM card from my iPhone 6 to the iPhone 8 and it will work. Will it have my contacts etc or will I need to port them over? I'm happy with my limited Verizon plan. Will it just plain work with the plan or will I need to change some things with them.
A google search seems to indicate that I can move the SIM card to the newer iPhone as long as the newer iPhone is unlocked which it would be. Have anyone on this forum actually done this?
I don't need the fancier camera and features that come with the newer models. I'm concerned about spending a lot and then damaging or losing a newer phone. A refurbished iPhone 8 seems to fit my needs.
