What is the correct way?

Been using grease guns for well over 40 years, got my first battery grease gun about 3 yrs ago, never had an issue with storing grease, however it's get dumped out of the box, or used straight out of the box, from the tool box in the tractor or combine, ect……..

Please...…..tell us what is the right way...(not saying there is not a right way).....

The right way to store grease is written on the box; upright, plastic cap up.

If you store tubes on their side they will develop a long air bubble. That air bubble causes issues with priming. Having air in the grease hose is what causes the hose to shoot out grease when you pull it off the nipple.
