| The slats on a narrow body were about $15 last year.
They sell inners, outers (connecting links), slat outers (connecting links at a slat), as well as slat outers with a pair of inners as a unit. They also sell the master link wires individually.
They're hardened so I built a tool out of a piece of bar stock with a hole drilled in the end so it'll grab the wire to bend it.
If you don't have them, they also sell six half moons of bar stock you can weld on the drum between the chains to give the slats something to stop against to help keep them from getting bent. Each pair welds midway between each chain (they form a circle) to the drum making a raised section. I do this as soon as we get a new to us Lex that doesn't have them. It really helps cut down on feederhouse chain damage.
Also: the bolts in the slats are placed in the length/order for a reason: they're supposed to help with crop wrapping so be sure to put them back in the OEM order.
Iirc links are in the $20 neighborhood each.
