| One time I had a rat chew thru the plastic pump gear train cover. Also lately I have had lots of valve problems on my 1660 just pull the valve cover and look for broken or cracked springs. I have ruined 2 engines with dropped valves in less than 13 months
Also I had a 1660 that leaked near valve cover and thought valve cover had a crack in it so I replaced it only to still leak after looking closer the head had a crack in it that went under the valve cover gasket this was near the exhaust side | |
