New London, Wisconsin | Sometime back someone asked a question about the cable to potentiometer on a 1020 head. I knew if it was installed backwards, and both ends are nearly identical but not quite, it won't work right. I added my 2 cents and heard from others that the newer style linkage is better and worth the conversion.
I thought about that and ordered the kit even though mine functioned normally for a cable system. I'm glad I did. That head it working better than ever and it would not have happened if I had not learned a better way here. I don't remember who specifically let me know the difference, and there were at least two of you but I wanted to say thank you for the tip I didn't know I needed.
