| Late model R52.
Rebuilt starter 10 days ago.
On 5-6 start ….starter sticks…Combine won’t stop running with key in off posn. I take apart fuel solenoid connection. Engine dies…Starter spinning away…not engaged with flywheel. Stops after wack with hammer.
Back to rebuilder with starter. I also take alternator. It’s good.
New solenoid smells burn inside. Fella says low voltage is my issue.
I replace key switch and the 5 year old battery’s.
Get thing going…all good.
Noon today, same issue. Combine won’t shut off starter running though not engaged with flywheel.
Never had an issue like this with starter before rebuilding before taking the old one off few days ago. Makes me Leary of thinking wire or connection. 2 China junk solenoids in a row?
